10 Days Unforgettable in Egypt Christmas
The Middle East is one of the world's most uncharted and fascinating regions, in my opinion, One of the largest metropolises on earth is Cairo, so you can enjoy your Christmas in Egypt.
Cairo is one of the best cities in the world for historical sightseeing, but there is much more to do in Cairo than just visiting mosques and museums.
10 Days Unforgettable in Egypt Christmas |
Cairo is the finest city to visit in Egypt to see contemporary Egyptian street life since it is vibrant and alive. Travel to Egypt in Christmas is not complete without spending time in the city known to Arabs as Umm al-Dunya (The Mother of the World).
The Giza Pyramids, which are right outside the city, are the main draw for visitors, but the city itself is teeming with significant structures that date back hundreds of years, The most popular half-day excursion in Cairo and the top item on everyone's itinerary are the Pyramids of Giza
- When travelers arrive in Cairo, they visit the Great Pyramids of Giza first, I was speechless when I stared up at the pyramid from the base, I essentially had the entire pyramid to myself because I was there when the gate opened. It was enchanted!
For scale, here you are. Even though you are not all that close to the pyramid, its grandeur dwarfs you.
When the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is done, the Giza Plateau will have a new attraction.
The Sphinx is another noteworthy site at Giza. It is much smaller than I had anticipated, and because it has been walled off to avoid damage to the well-known statue, you can no longer get up close to it.
- You will further your exploration of Cairo after a day spent touring the Giza Pyramids. Coptic Cairo, Islamic Cairo, the Muhammad Mosque, and the Khan-El Khalili Bazaar are among the places you will visit.
You'll love the Muhammad Mosque in Cairo for a good reason. How genuinely kind the people of this place are can be seen clearly, Cairo may also be seen from the top of the Mosque. A beautiful sight to witness, This small church-filled cluster of twisty laneways lies within the walls of Old Babylon, where the Roman Emperor Trajan first built a fortress along the Nile.
- The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the greatest museums in the world because of the extremely astounding collection of artifacts on show there. A lifetime is required to view everything on display in its entirety.
- The "other pyramids" are located in the enormous Saqqara necropolis and the nearby site of Dahshur, and visiting them both in a single day is just as rewarding as visiting the pyramids of Giza. The locations are around 30 km south of Cairo.
- One of the best places in the world to shop is Khan el-Khalili, This souq (bazaar), a maze-like network of narrow alleyways built as a commercial area in 1400 CE, is still alive with the clanging of silversmiths and metalworkers.
The Al-Fayoum depression, located 112 kilometers south of Cairo, makes for a great day trip from the city because it has a tonne of breathtaking natural beauty and a few top-notch historic sites, all of which are accessible in under two hours.
- After leaving Cairo, you'll board a train for Aswan and proceed immediately to Abu Simbel, a secluded temple close to the Sudanese border. You'll feel fairly protected the entire way, which was a wonderful thing, The impressive temples of Abu Simbel made the nine-hour trip from Cairo to Aswan worthwhile. Egyptian temples are unquestionably my favorite of all
- Plan Egypt Tours will transport you to Luxor from Aswan, where you will discover why it is known as the "country of palaces." This area is home to most of the remarkable ancient temples.
One of those temples is the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Also, The Karnak temple, which is just a few kilometers from the city center, will be the next stop.
The Luxor Temple, one of the few temples that are accessible at night, is another well-known temple in the vicinity.
